SENIOR ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PRACTITIONER

Job Overview

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) is hiring a Senior Organisational Development Practitioner based at Head Office in Pretoria. The role requires an NQF 7 degree or NQF 6 diploma in Management Services, Operations Management, Production Management, or Industrial Psychology, along with at least two years of organisational design experience. Responsibilities include conducting work-study investigations, job evaluations, compiling job descriptions, business process mapping, and optimising work procedures. Requirements & Qualifications

• An appropriate B Degree (NQF 7) or Three (3) year Diploma (NQF 6) in Management Services, Operations Management, Production Management, or related qualification i.e. Industrial Psychology.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the field of organisational design/development/work-study.
• Demonstrable competency in acting Independently, Professionally, Accountable and with Credibility.
• Knowledge of Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations and NPA Act.
• Good knowledge of organisational design, frameworks, practices, and processes in the public service.
• Knowledge of various directives, circulars etc. related to organisational development/change management.
• Knowledge of Human Resource Management and labour relations in general.
• Knowledge of job evaluation process, business process management, Total Quality Management, project management principles and methodologies.
• Strong Project management skills.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Specifically Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Bizagi Process Modeller.
• Communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Presentation and good report writing skills.
• People management and empowerment.
• Knowledge of the CompensateEvaluate job evaluation system.
• A valid driver’s license.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Undertake work-study investigations within the NPA.
• Conduct job evaluation exercises.
• Compile and review job descriptions.
• Conduct business process mapping.
• Optimise work procedures and methods including work processes, workflow and standard operating procedures.
• Render organisation development administrative duties.
