LAND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

Job Overview

A Land Administrative Officer position is available in Pretoria, Gauteng within the Directorate: Small-Holder Farmers Production at a salary of R413 001 per annum (Level 08). Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Facilitate the disposal of Agricultural State Land including identifying repossessed farms, appointing caretakers, and preparing lease agreements
• Provide infrastructure support including maintenance, inspections, needs analysis, eradication of poisonous plants, and rehabilitation of dams
• Render advisory services to inter-governmental departments and clients on land management matters
• Facilitate rental collection and other departmental levies, follow up on non-paying leases, and refer to legal services
• Maintain provincial, state land, asset management, and applicant databases
