Job Overview

A vacancy exists for a Waitron at Nylsvlei Nature Reserve under the Directorate of Provincial Protected Areas Management, offering a salary between R144 024 and R169 656 per annum (Level 02). Requirements & Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification as recognised by SAQA
• Certificate in food and beverage management will be an added advantage
• One (1) to two (2) years' experience in Food and Beverages will be an added advantage

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Setting up tables and ensuring that dining tables are clean and correctly arranged
• Stock service station with condiments, menus, and glassware
• Review daily specials and understand the menu to make recommendations to guests
• Welcoming, greeting and seating guests
• Accurately taking and relaying food and drink orders
• Deliver orders promptly
• Ensure exceptional dining experience
• Checking on guests' satisfaction
• Processing payments
• Clearing tables and cleaning dishes
• Cleaning the dining area and restocking supplies
• Cleaning dining facilities
• Assist with meal preparations
