Job Overview

Wege Hospital in Hopetown, Northern Cape, is hiring two Professional Nurses (General Nursing) under reference NCDOH 84/2026. Salaries range from Grade 1 to Grade 3 based on experience. Requirements & Qualifications

• Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification allowing registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse
• Registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse
• Grade 1: None
• Grade 2: Minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing
• Grade 3: Minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide direction and supervision for the implementation of the nursing plan including clinical practice and quality patient care
• Implement standards, practices, criteria and indicators for quality nursing
• Practice nursing and health care in accordance with the laws and regulations relevant to nursing and health care
• Maintain a constructive working relationship with nursing and other stakeholders
• Utilize human, material and physical resources efficiently and effectively
