ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

Job Overview

An Assistant Director: Conditions of Service position is available at Head Office in Polokwane (Ref No: C6/26/8). The role requires a Grade 12 qualification, an NQF 6 in Human Resource Management or Public Administration, three years of HR experience including two at a supervisory level, and proven completion of PERSAL Administration. Responsibilities include administering leave utilisation, termination of services, service benefits, and resource management. Enquiries can be directed to Ms. WA Klaassen.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Grade 12 certificate
• NQF 6 qualification in Human Resource Management / Public Administration or equivalent as recognised by SAQA
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience within Human Resources Management
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience at supervisory level (Personnel Practitioner)
• Proven successful completion of PERSAL Administration
• Valid driver’s license (with exception of person(s) with disability)
• Knowledge of relevant acts, directives, determinations, policies, regulations, and resolutions
• Skills in facilitation, presentation, management and leadership, analytical thinking, budget and financial management, policy development, conflict management, problem solving, interpersonal relations, planning and organization, communication, strategic thinking, adaptability, administrative duties, delegation, numeracy, literacy, computer literacy, language, strategic planning, training, HR matters, labour relations, and technical procedures

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Administer leave utilisation and termination of services
• Administer the process of service benefits
• Manage and utilize resources (financial, human and physical) in accordance with relevant directives and legislation
