ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER: MONITORING AND EVALUATION

Job Overview

The Western Cape Mobility Department, Western Cape Government, is hiring an Administrative Officer: Monitoring and Evaluation under reference WCMD 41/2026. This Level 08 position offers a salary range of R413 001 to R486 501 per annum. Applicants must possess a 3-year National Diploma or B-Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Development Studies, Statistics, Social Sciences, Project Management, Data Analytics, Public Administration, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Requirements & Qualifications

• An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Development Studies, Statistics, Social Sciences, Project Management, Data Analytics, Public Administration or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in monitoring and evaluation, reporting, research, project management, or data verification and analysis.
• Knowledge of M&E legislation, frameworks, guidelines, policies and directives.
• Understanding of the mobility and transport sector.
• Ability to use information systems that support the management of performance information.
• Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act, 1999, National Treasury Regulations, and Provincial Treasury Instructions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Performance Monitoring & Reporting (i.e. QPR, eQPRS, AR)
• Future performance planning (i.e. SP, APP, AOP)
• Assist with Departmental performance evaluations
• Provide Operational Administrative Support
