TRANSPORT OFFICER: LOGISTICAL SERVICES (METRO SOUTH)

Job Overview

Requirements & Qualifications

• A qualification at NQF level 6 (equivalent or higher qualification)
• A minimum of 1-year relevant experience
• Working knowledge and understanding of legislation, regulatory frameworks, policies and best practices
• Understanding of information systems, project management, and operational management practices
• Knowledge of procurement and tendering processes, public service procedures, and governance systems
• Familiarity with Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and treasury regulations
• Numeracy, computer literacy, and language skills

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain and control the GG fleet at the district
• Order taxi transport as per request from GMT
• Administer, verify and monitor the use of rentals
• Supervision of employees/staff
