AUXILIARY OFFICER: LOGISTICS AND ASSET MANAGEMENT

Job Overview

The Western Cape Mobility Department is hiring an Auxiliary Officer: Logistics and Asset Management (Ref No: WCMD 35/2026) with a salary ranging from R338 106 to R398 277 per annum (Level 07). Requirements include a 3-year tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management or Finance and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Requirements & Qualifications

• An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher qualification) in Supply Chain Management or Finance.
• A minimum of 1-year relevant experience in Supply Chain Management or Finance.
• Knowledge of legislation, regulatory frameworks, policies and best practices relevant to line functions.
• Ability to use information systems that support management of knowledge and information.
• Ability to perform logistics, asset management, or financial administration functions.
• Experience in capturing asset management data and maintaining accurate statistics.
• Proficiency in operating relevant computer systems and applications including PERSAL, BAS, and LOGIS.
• Understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service.
• Knowledge of financial processes in accordance with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), National Treasury Regulations, and Provincial Treasury Instructions.
• Strong communication, numeracy, literacy, project management, and problem-solving skills.
