Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Answering and directing incoming calls to relevant section or directorate
• Providing information about services rendered by the department
• Scanning all incoming calls and maintaining a record
• Providing internal telephone directory to staff when required
• Providing secretarial services to sections when officials are not in office and conveying messages
• Providing contact details of all Provincial and District Offices to the public
• Ensuring that the switchboard is always manned
• Rendering an effective and efficient telephone service to the department
