SCM PRACTITIONER: LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT

Job Overview

Head Office is hiring an SCM Practitioner: Logistics Management (Ref No: DSD19/08/2026HO) with a salary of R338 106 per annum (Level 07). Requirements include a National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Financial Management, or Public Administration, a valid driver's license, and at least 3 years of administrative experience in SCM. Responsibilities involve booking travel and accommodation, issuing orders to suppliers, administering deliveries, and supervising human resources.

Requirements & Qualifications

• National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Supply Chain Management, Financial Management, or Public Administration
• A valid Driver’s license
• A minimum of 3 years’ administrative experience in a Supply Chain Management environment
• Knowledge of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, Public Service Act, Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations, and Public Service Regulations
• Knowledge of Basic Accounting System, Employee Performance Management and Development System, National Treasury Instruction Notes, Provincial Treasury Practice Notes, Service Delivery frameworks, and Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE)
• Skills in Financial Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, Service Delivery Innovation, Problem Solving, Communication, Computer Literacy, Presentation, Facilitation, Report Writing, Interpersonal relations, Negotiation, and Driving

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Render effective booking of flights, accommodation and hired vehicle
• Ensure the issuing of orders to selected suppliers
• Administer the appropriate delivery of goods and services by service provider
• Supervise human resources
