REGISTRAR (MEDICAL) (UROLOGY) (5-Year Contract)

Job Overview

Groote Schuur Hospital in Observatory, Western Cape, is hiring a Registrar (Medical) in Urology on a 5-year contract with a salary of R1 041 402 per annum. Requirements & Qualifications

• Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Practitioner.
• Registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner (Independent Practice).
• Compulsory commuted overtime and willingness to work overtime when required.
• FCS (SA) part 1A.
• A certificate of ATLS and Basic Surgical Skills course completed.
• Knowledge, expertise and experience with regards to providing medical services in Urology.
• Appropriate and sufficient clinical experience since obtaining the degree of MBChB and after completion of internal rotations.
• Ability to work in a team under pressure.
• Research experience.
