Job Overview

The Department of Social Development, Western Cape Government, is hiring an Office Manager for Financial Management (Ref No: DSD 67/2026) at a salary level of R487 197 - R537 897 per annum. Candidates must possess a 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-degree or higher) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Duties include providing secretarial and administrative support, managing meetings, assisting with budget administration, and applying departmental prescripts. Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide a secretarial/receptionist support service to the manager
• Render administrative support services
• Provide support to manager regarding meetings
• Support the manager with the administration of the manager’s budget
• Study the relevant Public Service and departmental prescripts/policies and other documents and ensure that the application thereof is understood properly
