Job Overview

General Worker Stores required for Supply Chain Management at Chief Directorate: Metro Health Services (Lentegeur Hospital). Salary is R144 024 per annum. Responsibilities include managing issue vouchers, receiving and issuing goods, driving and delivering goods, cleaning stores, rotating stock, and assisting the warehouse clerk. Requirements include basic numeracy and literacy, warehouse experience, a valid Code B/EB driver's license, good communication skills, and physical/mental fitness.

• Physically and mentally fit and able to handle stock

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Answer the telephone and handle queries
• Manage Issue Vouchers, receive and issue goods
• Drive around the Estate and deliver goods to end-users
• Clean various stores and non-store areas within the main stores
• Assist in other stores when required
• Rotate store stock (first in, first out)
• Assist the Warehouse Clerk with handling of stock
