Job Overview

A Food Services Aid position is available at Radie Kotze Hospital, Bergriver Sub-district within the West Coast District. The annual salary is R144 024. Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum educational qualification: Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Appropriate experience in a large-scale kitchen in a hospital environment.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Must be healthy and strong enough to lift heavy objects and be on their feet the entire day.
• Dress according to departmental specifications and adhere to Hospital Policy.
• Knowledge of production for normal and therapeutic diets in an industrial food service unit.
• Knowledge of hygiene, occupational health, HACCP and safety principles.
• Ability to safely and correctly handle industrial equipment.
• Must be able to work independently and under pressure.
• Ability to interpret recipes, use a scale, do basic sums and production planning.
