Job Overview

The Office of the Premier in Mmabatho, North West is seeking a Deputy Director for the Dr RSM District (Reference: NWP/OOP/2026/36). The successful candidate will manage the District Office and coordinate service delivery improvement programmes. Requirements include an NQF level 6 qualification in Public Administration or Social Science, and 6 years of relevant experience with 3 years at Assistant Director level. Requirements & Qualifications

• Three-year qualification in Public Administration, Social Science or equivalent qualification at NQF level 6
• 6 years’ experience in Service Delivery services
• 3 years experience should be at Assistant Director level
• Knowledge of Local Government Prescripts, PFMA, LRA, and PSA
• Planning and organizing skills
• Management and leadership skills

• Financial management skills
• Computer and interpersonal skills

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage the District Office
• Coordinate and monitor District wide service delivery improvement support programmes and Interventions
• Manage the coordination of Thuntsha-Lerole Service Delivery programmes
• Manage the functionality assessment of DDM structures
• Manage Frontline Monitoring & Support Interventions
• Manage Occupational Health & Safety
• Manage Risk
• Manage resolutions of service delivery complaints
