The Department is seeking a Control Environment Officer Grade A for Prioritised Infrastructure Projects based in Pretoria, offering a salary of R636 978 per annum (OSD). Applicants must hold a 4-year degree (NQF 8) in Environmental Management, Science, or Natural Science, backed by at least 6 years of post-qualification experience. Key competencies include expertise in NEMA, NEMWA, EIA regulations, sustainable development, project management, and report writing. Responsibilities involve administering environmental authorisations, reviewing EIA reports, processing Section 24G and 30A applications, stakeholder management, mentoring officers, and supporting compliance monitoring.
