A Chief Town and Regional Planner position is available in Mahikeng, North West within the Directorate: Spatial Planning and Land Use Management Services. The role requires a Grade 12 certificate, a Bachelor's Degree in Town and Regional Planning or Urban and Regional Planning, compulsory registration with SACPLAN as a Professional Town and Regional Planner upon appointment, a minimum of 6 years of post-qualification experience, and a valid driver's licence. Responsibilities include spatial forecasting, land use management, formulating legislation, stakeholder management, and providing technical planning support.
