Job Overview

The National Treasury’s Office of the Accountant-General is offering a three-year full-time Chartered Accountants Academy training contract (Ref No: CAA 2027) located in Pretoria, Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban. Requirements & Qualifications

Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) or equivalent qualification that meets SAICA requirements to write Initial Assessment of Competence (IAC) in January 2027

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Participate in a three-year full-time training contract to develop Professional Values, Attitudes and Acumens (PVAAs)
Engage in key learning areas across various units where trainees are placed
Contribute to financial management transformation and policy development initiatives in the public sector
