ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: HR PLANNING AND EMPLOYMENT EQUITY

Job Overview

The Compensation Fund in Pretoria is hiring an Assistant Director: HR Planning and Employment Equity under reference HR5/1/2/3/25. The role requires an NQF Level 6 undergraduate qualification in Human Resource Management or Personnel Management, a PERSAL certificate in Establishment, 4 years of functional HR administration experience, and 2 years at a supervisory level. Key responsibilities include coordinating HR operations planning, audits, reconciliation, employment equity data collection, and maintaining the PERSAL establishment. Requirements & Qualifications

• Undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) as recognized by SAQA in Human Resource Management/Personnel Management.
• PERSAL certificate in Establishment.
• 4 years’ functional experience in Human Resource Administration (Employment Equity, Management of Establishment and HR Planning).
• 2 years at a supervisory level.
• Knowledge of Human Resource Management Methodology, Principles and Strategies.
• Digital Acumen/Relevant HRM systems/Learning Systems/Performance Systems.
• Knowledge of COIDA, DPSA Directives, Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, PFMA, and Public Service Act/Regulations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage Human Resource Operations Planning and Controls.
• Coordinate Human Resource Audits and Perform Human Resource reconciliation.
• Coordinate and facilitate the collection of data for Employment Equity (EE).
• Coordinate and maintain PERSAL establishment within the Fund.
• Manage HR Records.
• Manage resources in the Sub-directorate.
