The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture is hiring an Assistant Director: Heraldic Artistry based in Pretoria (Salary: R487 197 per annum, Level 09). The role requires a National Diploma (NQF 6) or Degree (NQF 7) in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or Multimedia Design, along with 2-3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include designing and painting heraldic artworks, producing certificates, applying calligraphy and typography, ensuring legal compliance with heraldic standards, conducting research, and maintaining the South African Heraldic Register.
