ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: DISTRICT CORPORATE SERVICES

Job Overview

An Assistant Director: District Corporate Services position is available across multiple districts in the North West province (Ngaka Modiri, Dr Keneth Kaunda, Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati, Bojanala) with a salary of R487 197 per annum (Level 09). Candidates require a relevant 3-year National Diploma or Degree, 3 to 5 years of experience including 2 years at a supervisory level, a valid driver's license, and knowledge of PERSAL and financial management systems.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Three (3) Year National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Management, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, Financial Management, or Supply Chain Management
• Three (3) to five (5) years relevant working experience in Human Resource Management, Financial Management, or Supply Chain Management environment
• Two (2) years must be in a supervisory (salary level 7/8) level
• Valid Driver's License
• Knowledge of PERSAL system
• Knowledge of Walker Financial Management System
• Knowledge of HRM matters and Regulatory Frameworks and Acts
• Knowledge of Legislations/Acts governing SCM (PPPFA, PFMA & Treasury Regulations) and Public Service Acts
• Computer Literacy (MS Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Report Writing skills
• Proven management ability and dynamic leadership skills

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Human Resource Management support services in the District
• Manage and administer Financial Management Services in the District
• Manage and administer Supply Chain Management Support services in the District
• Compile reports
• Manage the key areas of subordinates
