Requirements & Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Senior certificate or equivalent qualification)
• Knowledge of clerical duties, practices, data capture, computer operation, and statistics collection
• Understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service
• Knowledge of working procedures and public service financial legislations, processes, and procedures
• Knowledge of National Treasury Regulations and Provincial Treasury Instructions
• Computer skills, planning and organising, language, good verbal and written communication skills
• Customer care, reporting, problem-solving, creative thinking, decision making, and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work irregular hours, meet tight deadlines, and ability to work under pressure

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Render general clerical support services
• Provide supply chain clerical support services within the component
• Provide personnel administration clerical support services within the component
• Provide financial administration support services in the component
