Job Overview

Chief Directorate: Metro Health Services is hiring three Staff Nurses (Grade 1 to 3) at Brackengate Transitional Care (TCF). Candidates must have a qualification allowing registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse, with varying experience requirements from none for Grade 1 up to 20 years for Grade 3. Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum educational qualification allowing registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse.
• Registration with a professional council (SANC) as a Staff Nurse.
• Grade 1: None experience required.
• Grade 2: Minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Grade 3: Minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
• Willingness to work shifts, including night duty, weekends, and public holidays.
• Prepared to assist in another department according to operational requirements.
• Good communication, planning, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to enhance patient care through the implementation of SOPs, policies, and guidelines.
