Job Overview

Karl Bremer Hospital under Chief Directorate: Metro Health Services is hiring three Staff Nurses (Grade 1 to 3) for Theatre and General Ward roles. Candidates must possess a qualification allowing SANC registration as a Staff Nurse. Experience ranges from none for Grade 1, up to 10 years for Grade 2, and 20 years for Grade 3. Duties include developing and implementing patient care plans, providing basic clinical nursing care, resource utilization, and maintaining ethical standards. Willingness to work shifts, night duty, and overtime is required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse.
• Registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse.
• Grade 1: None experience required.
• Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Staff Nurse with the SANC.
• Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Staff Nurse with the SANC.
• Willing to rotate in other wards when required.
• Willingness to work night duty, weekends, public holidays and overtime.
• Knowledge of Nursing care processes.
• Ability to function in a team.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbally.
