Job Overview

A Staff Nurse (Grade 1 to 3) position is available at Breede Valley Sub-district based at De Doorns CHC within the Cape Winelands Health District. Candidates require a qualification allowing SANC registration as a Staff Nurse, with varying experience requirements ranging from none for Grade 1, to 10 years for Grade 2, and 20 years for Grade 3. Responsibilities include developing and implementing basic patient care, providing clinical nursing, utilizing resources effectively, and maintaining ethical standards. A valid driver's license is required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse
• Registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse
• Grade 1: None experience required
• Grade 2: Minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognisable nursing experience after registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse
• Grade 3: Minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable nursing experience after registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse
• Valid (code B/EB) driver’s license
• Good communication, planning, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to enhance patient care through the implementation of SOP’s, policies, and guidelines
