SENIOR ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PRACTITIONER

Job Overview

The Department of Social Development is hiring a Senior Organisational Development Practitioner based at Head Office in Polokwane (Ref No: DSD/2026/150). The role requires an NQF 6 qualification in Operations Management, Industrial and Organisational Psychology, or a related field, alongside 2-3 years of experience and a valid driver's licence. Responsibilities include organizational structure reviews, job evaluations, job description facilitation, and implementing operations management framework interventions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Appropriate qualification at NQF 6 in Operations Management, Management Services, Production Management, Industrial and Organisational Psychology or equivalent as recognized by SAQA
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Valid motor vehicle driver’s licence (with the exception of persons with disabilities)
• Knowledge of organisational design, restructuring and development principles
• Knowledge of Work Study Techniques
• Knowledge of change management principles, strategies, and models
• Knowledge of business process re-engineering
• Understanding of Job grading and evaluation system
• Knowledge of public service regulations, acts and policies
• Problem solving, project management, communication, stakeholder engagement, analytical, conflict resolution, facilitation, presentation, and report writing skills
• Computer literacy

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and review of organizational structure
• Provide job evaluation services
• Facilitate the development and review of job descriptions
• Implement operations management framework interventions
