Job Overview

Tygerberg Hospital in Parow Valley is seeking an Operator for their Pneumatic Tube Station with a salary of R170 226 per annum. Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum educational qualification: General Education and Training Certificate (GETC) or Grade 9 (Std 7).
Appropriate experience in a pneumatic tube station environment.
Willingness to work shifts.
Ability to report for duty at 06:30, including weekends.
Knowledge of the Tube distribution service.
Good communication skills in written and verbal forms.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for the operational function of the Pneumatic Tube System.
Dispatch tubes and handle telephonic queries and requests.
Report defective specimens.
Transport specimens from various laboratories.
Receive and dispatch specimens, postal forms, medical reports, and other related documents.
