Job Overview

A twenty-four-month contract internship for an Internal Audit Intern is available in Pretoria with a salary of R98 097 per annum. Applicants must possess a Senior Certificate and a recognised National Diploma or Degree (NQF level 6/7) in Internal Audit, and must be unemployed. Membership with IIASA or the Siyakhula Student Membership Programme is advantageous. Duties include participating in internal audit plans, planning audit projects, executing audit engagements, and supporting audit committees.

Requirements & Qualifications

Senior Certificate/Grade 12 certificate
A recognised National Diploma / Degree (NQF level 6/7) qualification in Internal Audit
Applicants must be unemployed
Siyakhula Student Membership Programme or Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa (IIASA) membership will be an added advantage

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Participate in the development of internal audit plans
Planning audit projects
Execution of audit engagements
Reporting and support to audit committees
Participate in the development programme for internal auditors including follow-ups of audit findings
