Job Overview

A Housekeeping Executive position is available in Cape Town with a salary of R144 024 per annum. Applicants must possess a Grade 9 or ABET Level 1 or 2 Certificate, with cleaning experience acting as an advantage. Responsibilities include providing general cleaning services for offices, boardrooms, kitchens, and passages, supporting meetings, managing stock levels, and reporting equipment faults. Requirements & Qualifications

• Grade 9 or ABET Level 1 or 2 Certificate
• Experience in rendering cleaning services will be an added advantage
• Understanding of one of the official languages used in the Department
• Ability to work individually and in a team
• Good interpersonal relations and communication skills
• Sound organizing and planning skills
• Sense of responsibility and loyalty
• Ability to work long hours voluntarily

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning service in the department
• Cleaning of offices, boardrooms, kitchen, and passages
• Clean computer printers and cabinets
• Provide support for meetings in the department
• Washing cups and filling up water bottles
• Removing waste and disposing of it in the main dustbin
• Handling cleaning material and using equipment in a prescribed manner
• Prepare tea and water for meetings
• Removing and washing cups after meetings
• Maintain and update stock levels for cutlery, crockery, cleaning equipment, and beverages
• Receive and pack stock
• Report faults, loss, and breakage of utensils and equipment
