Job Overview

An Assistant Manager: Pharmaceutical Services position is available within Medicine Management, Laboratory and Blood Service Support. The role requires a basic qualification accredited by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC), registration as a Pharmacist, and a minimum of 3 years appropriate post-registration experience. Responsibilities include leading health and wellbeing, cultivating systems for ethical decision-making, collaborative policy making, and people-centred care. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license, leadership skills, computer literacy, and knowledge of the Pharmacy Act 53 of 1974.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum educational qualification: Basic qualification accredited with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) that allows registration with the SAPC as a Pharmacist.
• Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) as a Pharmacist.
• A minimum of 3 years appropriate experience after registration as a Pharmacist with the SAPC.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Leadership and managerial skills.
• High level of Computer Literacy.
• Appropriate knowledge of National and Provincial Policies.
• Knowledge of Pharmacy Act 53 of 1974.
