Job Overview

The Northern Cape Department of Health is hiring an Artisan Grade A-C based in the ZF Mgcawu District Office. Responsibilities include rendering technical design, production, operation, and maintenance services, inspecting and repairing equipment, testing facilities against specifications, supervising staff, and compiling reports. Requirements include a Grade 12 certificate, valid driver's license, and a recognized trade test certificate in building, mechanical, printing, electrical, industrial, or textile environments. Requirements & Qualifications

• Grade 12/Senior Certificate
• A valid Driver's License
• Prescribed level of qualification as determined by the relevant trade
• Successful completion of a recognised trade test
• Appropriate trade test certificate in building environment, mechanical environment, printing environment, electrical environment, industrial environment, or textile environment

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Render technical design, production, operation and maintenance services
• Inspect equipment and/or facilities for technical faults
• Repair equipment and facilities according to standards
• Test repair equipment and/or facilities against specifications
• Service equipment and/or facilities according to schedule
• Quality assure serviced and maintained equipment and/or facilities
• Perform administrative and related functions
• Compile and submit reports
• Provide inputs to the operational plan
• Keep and maintain job record/register
• Supervise and mentor staff
• Maintain expertise through continuous individual development
